What Is ABA Therapy?
Proven the Most Effective Autism Therapy
Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy is an evidence-based therapy which strives to make meaningful change in behavior by breaking skills down into small, easy-to-learn steps. ABA Therapy is the single most effective treatment for children with ASD and the only treatment shown to lead to substantial, lasting improvements in the lives of children with autism.

Our Approach to Your Child’s Care
The structure of your child's care plan is designed specifically for your child. We ensure our expert team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) work with your family to understand and build an individualized plan that will be the most effective at accomplishing your child's goals.

Your Child’s Safety is Our #1 Priority
We continue to provide all services to our clients, both in-home and center-based settings. Research shows that ABA therapy makes a difference and every day counts, and also emphatically states that under-treatment or mistreatment of autism leads to persistent disability.
We are taking a series of precautions to ensure the safety of each of our clients and their families:
  • Health screenings for staff and clients before each therapy session
  • Developed COVID-19 guidelines, informed by the CDC, regarding proper infection control procedures
  • Migrating more services to digital solutions when available
  • Providing our staff with proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including shields, masks, and hand sanitizer
  • Increasing our center cleaning intensity and practicing social distancing
ABA Therapy OPTIONS
Where Does Therapy Take Place
Centria Autism offers effective ABA therapy in various settings. Note that the availability of certain settings are dependent on the location of which you reside.
In-Home Therapy Your child receives ABA Therapy where they are most comfortable, their own home. With In-Home Therapy, your Behavior Technician and supervising BCBA would come to you to provide therapy. All of our team members are equipped with Person Protective Equipment (PPE) and practice therapy at safe distances. Our priority is not only the positive of outcome through therapy, but also the safety of the child and your family.
Center-Based Therapy Your child participates in a group-like setting practicing socialization skills, as well as one-on-one time for more intensive ABA Therapy. Our center setting offers many school-like activities that can help prepare the child by practicing skills with other children their age. Each of our centers observes all up-to-date CDC guidelines, including the use of PPE and social distancing when and where necessary.
Telehealth Your child receives ABA Supervision virtually using online video conferencing. With Teletherapy, our clinical team can continue to work one-on-one with your child, but limits the number of in-person interactions with the client and technician.
